How to Install LoanSpread™ on Vista and Windows 7

The Microsoft Vista and Windows 7 operating systems look different and are reportedly more secure out of the box.

One important part of Vista's and Windows 7's new security that can be troublesome is that both operating systems require the permission of an Administrator account to install most software.

While many IT departments like this, most Home-based users find this extra level of security to be a hassle when installing software.

These step-by-step instructions and illustrations show you how to install software on a computer running the Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system.  The most important thing to know is that when you are logged on to your computer and wish to install software, you must enter and administrator password to authorize the installation.  The easiest way to do this, as you will see, is to right click on the installation executable and choose "Run As Administrator" from the popup menu. You will be prompted for the Administrator password. After you enter it, the installation will begin.

Once the installation process begins, simply respond to the prompts as they appear. The installation will complete as it should.  If you install when you are logged on with an Administrator account, you will have the privileges required and will not need to choose "Run As Administrator".  You only need to double-click the installation executable icon to perform the installation.
